Aston Villa have confirmed their starting XI for tonight’s clash with St. Louis City at Energizer Park, Missouri.

This is the second of three fixtures on their U.S. pre-season tour, with a final match scheduled against Nashville SC next week. Kick-off is set for 7:30pm local time (1:30am in Birmingham).

Villa opened their pre-season with back-to-back defeats — first at Walsall, then against Hansa Rostock — before drawing 2-2 with Eintracht Frankfurt in Louisville last weekend.

Several key players made their first appearances of the summer in that draw, but both Emi Martinez and John McGinn were yet to feature until tonight.

Martinez starts in goal, protected by a back four of Triston Rowe, Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, and Ian Maatsen. McGinn lines up alongside Boubacar Kamara in midfield.

Up front, Donyell Malen leads the line, with Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey, and Morgan Rogers offering attacking support.
