Aston Villa have strengthened their defensive options by completing the signing of 21-year-old right-back Andrés García from Spanish club Levante. The transfer, valued at approximately £5.9 million, was finalized in January 2025. García arrives with a solid reputation and a promising future, having impressed in Spain’s Segunda División.

García began his professional career with Levante’s B team in the Tercera Federación, where he made 31 appearances and scored once during the 2022-2023 season. His performances led to his first-team debut in January 2023, and he signed a contract extension with Levante in July 2023. This season, García contributed three goals and three assists in 22 appearances for Levante’s first team, showcasing his ability to offer both defensive stability and attacking contributions.
